Airtrek Turbo R barn find resurrection

This car was abandoned for 8 years and was left to sit exposed to the elements. History and problems unknown u decided to bite the bullet and take on the project of putting this airtrek turbo r back on the road.
Untouched and not started for 8 years. I expected the worst. Exterior and interior Condition wasn't too far gone that I was discouraged.
Having a very good and patient mechanic at my disposal gives me the confidance to push forward and try to make this a profitable experience for everyone involved.
I intent to sell the car once it is roadworthy.

Hi Kevin just got to view the video u took...what is the gauge that u used to check the Oil pump pressure... maybe need to check mine too... thanks...

I just used and external oil press meter with a sensor to the oil sandwich plate. I have changed my oil filter housing to an Evo one so this might be a problem for a stock airtrek oil sandwich plate. I cannot remember if the stock airtrek oil sandwich plate has an extra bunk to monitor oil press from or not.

Hi Kevin, under acceleration, i have a droning sound from the front. ( Its not the wheel bearing as i have changed it.) Any idea ?

I m sorry but that's very very hard to diagnose. Could be transfer case or gearbox. Can even be your exhaust if it is aftermarket

Yes all inclusive. Even my personal car didn't come with cargo cover.

I Am sorry Denroy. I am located in malaysia and do not know where in jamaica can you find parts for a 4g64. We have lotsa parts for that engine here in malaysia. Most 2.4L, 4g63 are using a 4g64 blocks.... :) all the best buddy.
