JCal, I think you missed the lesson. Showing the old clip again, and standing by what you said, means you still don't understand why you were wrong back then. And then the incongruence of following that clip with an "I respect Palmer" was almost satirical. Clearly *all* the other besties get it, so I'd suggest you have a long private talk with them - or maybe just Friedberg - to figure it out. The lesson is to never take the low road and resort to personal attacks. It may get you cheap points with the mob of the day, but you never know when the person you're disrespecting may do something respectable...

Maybe the best All-In episode. Palmer Luckey is not only a genius but he communicates at a very high level for a non-degreed technology leader. Amazing! Several thoughts: 1. The quote that "it feels safer to be in the mob" and "you can only attack if you are in the mob." Is so true. 2. The power that the corporate world, media and Hollywood has to cancel you out if you supported Trump is terrifying. 3. Very funny that Jason Calacanis, the huge Trump hater is now a Trump supporter. 4. The comments made by Calacanis about Luckey were motivated by his support for Trump. If Luckey supported Biden, he then would have been a good guy. 5. The major defense companies do also have drone and autonomous divisions. So to say only Anduril is the only defense company working on autonomous defense and drones is not correct.

Let's be honest in our critique of Jason, rather than hopping on the mob bandwagon of villifying him and mis-attributing that he attacked Palmers family somehow.

I don't understand Jcal's question about Taiwan. It's just so offbase from what Palmer is doing.

"THIS PODCAST IS ABOUT HAVING HARD DISCUSSIONS!!!" Preach! People should be uncomfortable, this is how serious progress is made!!!!

Mostly side with Palmer on this one. Still love ya JCal, and agree on the anon part in principle, but in practice we know how the left is. But I suppose that is the exact reason to put your name on it. Cheers.

All the personal bullshit aside-everything Palmer said about the US Industrial Complex is painfully true. We are woefully underprepared for what lies ahead with China (and others) and have been corruptly lining the pockets of unethical defense contractors for decades. (Dick Cheney and Halliburton comes to mind) The DOD is wasting $trillions on shit that doesn't work or advance our defense imperatives. I hope Palmer's vision and business model becomes the norm and not the exception.

The sick thing about JCal is that he has no remorse because he genuinely believes he’s morally superior to anyone who supports Trump. He’s a classic NPC

Hopefully the "All In" gang will be back together at some point, despite whatever recent friction there's been between them. This show is such a tremendous benefit to the viewers.

Can you ellaborate further on your comment, Sir?

There was a cryptic tweet that made it seem that the All In pod might not be continuing. It's possible that Jason will continue it on his own. Guess we'll find out in the weeks to come.
@medusa8592 жыл бұрын
@@BennyOcean can you share what the tweet was and who posted it? Very strange with such a huge downturn in markets when we would benefit the most from their commentary they don't do a pod for weeks! Understanding to take a break after the conference, but we NEED their opinions now more then ever.

Wow. Friedberg sticks up for Jcal to Palmer, saying he's, "an incredibly loyal friend". Then in the very next episode (kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJmZXoOOgsmghs0), we learn Jcal wanted to have hte biggest equity stake in the show and said Friedberg was replaceable, not only to him but to his wife. WTF, Jcal?

This is the one I have been waiting for. Thanks for getting it posted. After watching it, I can see hy it took so long to get posted. Brave of you Jason for facing it, and also brave of Palmer allowing it to be posted for us all to see.

Man… amazing video until the last segment. The hatchet was buried on stage with that hug at the end… then resurfacing the whole thing and bringing it all back up… not good. Not good at all. 🤦♂️

Also Jason sounds gross in this episode. Very snake in the grass-ish. Sachs couldn’t get enough of it 😂
@allenz10122 жыл бұрын
This is such bullshit I actually want to hear what question Chamath was going to ask in the end but Jcal had to make it about him making peace , which was so ironic , then adding the "closing thoughts" part. Massive insecurity oozing out
@michealmclaughlin42911 ай бұрын
yikes at the last clip, don't think you can defend that Jason. Just take the L and move on. Respect to the improvement in your presenting skills and articulation 👏
@joeym79602 жыл бұрын
Why does JCal feel the need to add his own rebuttal and "closing thoughts"? It proves hes an egomaniac who has to be right all the time. This was not a good move JCal. But I still love you and and the POD.

This is how adults deal with disagreements. Palmer and jcal have a big pair of balls to do this, can’t be easy for either party.
