Hey loves! I was going to hold off on this video for a few weeks, but why not kick off the beginning of summer with my updated wash and go routine! In this tutorial I’m showing you how I achieve my defined, voluminous, AND moisturized wash and go. You’ve all been commenting on it in my past few videos, so I had to share. Hope you enjoy!!

It looks great! I’m gonna try this method. I may not use the oil tho bc my hair dresser recommends not using oil. I just started doing no oil a couple of months ago. I think it’s working so far to keep my hair free from buildup, but I’ll see over time whether I should stay oil free. I hope my wash and go looks as fabulous as yours! 😃🤗

Oh really? Oil after you style or on your scalp? I don’t apply the oil to my strands until it’s fully dry and it’s always pretty light weight. And thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
@ebonywilkes4 жыл бұрын
Same here! I no longer use oil either because another influencer who’s natural hair I love here on KZbin was talking about how there’s already oil in most of the products we already use (looking at the ingredients). My hair has been doing just fine and I love it!
@Mrg5244 жыл бұрын
Aisha Beau Aisha Beau she does not recommend using oil at all, on the scalp or hair. It is very different for me, bc I still have castor oil that I’m always tempted to use! Your wash and go is glorious though, so I am not sure whether you should change anything! My hair is more moisturized now. The only issue I have is single strand knots on the ends which tempts me to put oil on them. It’s probably bc I have fine strands. My hair was already prone to the knots tho and I am still retaining length despite that. But on another note, since you are into makeup and thinking about wedding styles, have you heard of “Kibbe body types”? I’m personally fascinated by it so I’ve been telling ppl about it 😂 It is a style guide based on your type. I wonder what type you would see yourself as and whether you might want to do makeup based on it. I have a couple of ideas for what type you might be. Your makeup already fits one of the types and you might actually be that type. However, I don’t want to say which one it is bc I don’t want to influence what type you decide you are, since we know our bodies best! KZbinr Aly Art has a video breaking it down: kzbin.info/www/bejne/npzJZGaGfdp3Y8U. She also has a makeup tutorial for each type. 😃

I just found out that one of the ingredients in Aunt Jackie’s gelee products isn’t healthy. I just bought it and now I have to try and take it back. The chemical is called Aminomethyl propanol. I bought the coconut curl boss because my local store didn’t have the flaxseed one. The flaxseed one has the same unhealthy chemical which is used in relaxers. I wanted to share this with you because I know that you’re also on a healthy hair journey that very similar to my own and I’m sure that you weren’t aware of this troubling problem. I WAS SHOCKED 😳 I love you channel so far and I enjoy how minimal your regimens are. I hope this helps you or someone else. I’m still upset because I really thought that I’d found the holy grail for me. Be blessed ♥️♥️

Your hair turned out gorgeous (like always)! Does your hair naturally grown in the shape or do you cut it to shape it? Such a beautiful shape that adds so much volume!

Thank you so much! When I did my big chop, I did a tapered cut and ever since then it's grown in that shape and I just continue to trim it to maintain that!

Thank you! And I got them so long ago from a local beauty supply store. I'm sure Amazon or Target has some great alternatives!
