I grew up with my mother and my 4 siblings we were raised up good as well going to a pentecostal church went to college got my BA degree became a teacher my siblings and I are doing well and fyi we lived in nyc during those times! I currently still live in NYC my mom is retired now with a home in the south She was a great educator as well like I am now blessed be great vlog!🙏🏾

A ride or die! This was so needed… I just paid off an old Cap1 CC and it felt amazing, especially when my credit score jumped. I grew up (lower )middle class and my folks lived outside of our means severely lol. The hot water heater broke and the ac broke (in FL no less) but there was a Lincoln Navigator in the driveway 💀 or a Range Rover… how audacious of them. 💀 it’s so embarrassing! My relationship w money has never been good. My husband has a perfect credit score and no debt and various investments and savings and an accountant/advisor who wisely invests for him. He inspired me to get my finances in order and to pay down my debt. That’s my only responsibility besides my phone bill so that helped tremendously. I still struggle w retail therapy and food 💀 but when I push myself it’s awesome to see $200-$500 that I didn’t spend at EOM … but I can hardly resist buying my daughter all the things I wanted as a child. This video was great thanks for the transparency ✨

Hey Lady! I lived your life; 0:02 raised by a single mom, I ran track in high school and couldn’t afford to eat after a meet. My friends would pay (broke friend). After almost losing my house in the 2008 recession, I made a promise to get out of debt; transferred debt to 0% percent card for 24 months. At present, I have no debt, always pay mortgage and extra towards principal, utilities, card purchases in full, move money to savings and then have a little for fun. Congratulations on your newfound independence from Corporate America! I did that rat race as well. I job hopped to get $10k or more increase every few years vs waiting on 2-3% raise. Ride or Die
