Very bad management skills. HEPO maintained schools and even gave some back to Catholic missions and Anambra became tops in education. I have heard people say he didnt bulid schools, but he made those on ground super functioning schools. WE DONT NEED MORE ROAD...WE NEED THOSE WE HAVE BUILT TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. It is very simple when we apply little manegement skill to infrastructure.

My dear. From Owu to Agbade is always a nightmare. Sometimes you will get stocked for some hours while driving to Auchi. I let Onitsha in the later hour and got to Owu in the early afternoon, just for me to get to Auchi by 9:00pm. It's disheartening to see those tankers plighting same route. That road needs urgent attention. So many have lost their lives. There was a day police mounted a check point at the Agbede Owu bypass and a trailer fell break and it was a sad reality that day and a day after there was another police check same spot and another trailer fell break many lost their lives. I do say my last prayer each time I'm passing that road. The road that lead to Auchi from Agbede has been abandoned. The then Obaseki government start work on the road and till today, it has been that way. Why can't they just put the roads in order. Sometimes I keep asking myself if they don't like good life and healthy living they do enjoy over the Western world. God help us.

What the point of this coastal road bro? You have an existing road which when was on good conditions takes the same time to drive from Lagos to Calabar as the coastal road. How heavy is the traffic from Lagos to Calabar that is requires multiple roads while more commercially viable routes are ignored or abandoned. I am yet to hear a plausible argument for that road to be honest.

Coastal road is a Tinubu's legacy and he is determined to make this road his signature. From all indications, it was a good move to open a new corridor and opportunity for Nigerians residing in this axis. My take for Obingos is, if he becomes the President of Nigeria, he can follow his list and make sure all the roads are rehabilitated. Let me even ask you, what is the projected time for completion for this coastal road? 8 years; 10 years? You think a new corridor opens just like that? So we can fully expect NOT to see any economic/commercial impact for at least 12 years. We always like shiny new things, but fail to see the value of upkeep and maintenance. I can tell you with certainty that the cost-benefit ratio of this road is very poor because all the trillions allocated for it can very well be used to fix the existing network which makes far more sense for immediate growth and economic opportunity. It's good to have long-term projections, but more crucial is what we're doing now to get out of the economic doldrums.

When P.O was Governor it took him his second tenure to start fixing roads then he ended up doing very poor work which has decayed...the worst of wasting public funds is doing things that will not serve for a period of 15 to 20 years...mind you the roads done by Ngige is still fully functional...
