that's all circumstantial evidence. navya nanda may not want to work in films but her brother wants to. shweta bachhan said herself that she's never been interested in acting so she never tried. abhishek had been acting in plays at school and so has clearly had some interest. also, jayaji is not the only woman to leave her career after marriage, esp during her time in the 70s and 80s. aishwarya did do a couple of films after marrying abhishek but she had a kid and i doubt she was getting very many offers that were worth it...... she was body-shamed so badly for gaining pregnancy weight don't you remember? i was a teenager back then and i felt awful for the sort of comments i saw and still see regarding her weight gain (which indian women are prone to). we've only seen a handful of actresses come back to the silver screen after marriage and becoming mothers. and even less have come back doing commercial and big roles too. kareena kapoor and alia bhat are really the only ones i can think of - that's how rare it is. anushka sharma has such a supportive husband and we still haven't seen her in anything but a cameo. aishwarya is not the exception at all, as unfortunate as it is. she has a lot to offer but the industry won't support her unless if it's for roles like ponniyin selvan. yes, patriarchy is rampant in our society today and it probably is in their household too, but ignoring major facts and possibilities about people we don't know about is extremely irresponsible.

My cousin brother also keeps disrespecting his sister because she is younger than him and still earns well while he is struggling to find a job. His sister never said a word to him and Always remains there to take responsibility of the family without showing any ego or rudeness. Rather she is extremely respectful towers everyone and prioritises other's needs over herself. Still, Her brother is irritated all the time and gets angry for no reason while his sister constantly tries to calm the situation and Does not feels bad about his rude behaviour One day he just bluntly said to her "zada pasa kamane lagi ha? Pase ki garmi mat dikhao" , he said this when their mother bought something to drink for the son but she dint had change so her daughter offered to pay and then the guy just started shouting at her in public. She dint said anything and just remained quite but I could see the tears in her eyes which she was trying to control. He keeps saying such things directly or indirectly but no one ever criticized him. Rather everyone expects his sister to be more humble (which she already is)

I don't think Aishwarya's personality has changed in any singificant or worrying way. The only thing changed is that she's not in the public eye as much anymore, simply because she's not working but taking care of her child - which is something she's mentioned she wanted to prioritise before (not to exclude work completely, like some other actresses, but to prioritise family). I really hope it's her choice and not her in-laws pushing her to do it or industry no longer being interested in her, and i do hope we'll get to see her in many movies yet. But she has lost none of her intelligence, charisma, eloquence, spark, air of quiet self-assuredness and dignity.
