If young adults are dissuaded from watching condom ads, how would they know it’s essential to use ‘em! Periods are perfectly biological, just like digestion and breathing, why do we shy away from talking about it! The more we suppress kids, the more they rebel from within. It’s time to mould our attitudes towards our kids. It’s natural for a young person to get attracted to another young person. Be a friend to them, hear them out without judgement, talk to them about the right reasons for having sex, inform them of the consequences of unprotected sex. Allow them to be able to tell you if they like somebody. I bet a lot of young people just end up having sex because of the suppression of their expression, misconceptions led by peer pressure about why they should be having sex, and not because they really want to.

Amazing work Sejal and the entire team! Loved the story line and concept. Smooth transitions between dancing/standing and talking into the phone to your parents as their “wake up call”, and the actual story and what happened. Lovely and TRUE lyrics. I could relate to every word and every scene in the story too. I have been through that all - and still somehow managed to break the glass ceiling and have that “wake up call” like you in the video on the phone :) Now I’m a 26 year old independent woman standing tall and not afraid!! Brilliant Sejal! Kudos. All the best for the creators for change project. I cried when you used the stethoscope on your mother’s heart for her to hear your aawaz. It reminded me how mothers really know our inner pains and voice but sometimes they just get bogged down by societal pressures. Made me very emotional.
