The joke in the first story was hilarious. He was just salty

Agreed! I told my husband and he busted up laughing. It’s hilarious!

I taught. This sort of thing I’d have ti turn around and count to ten to keep from laughing. The kid’s friends are going to remember this and make assumptions on his size when they get older.

The last one BLEW MY MIND! My baby boy is about to turn 1, and I need at least a few days notice before visitors come even now. Also thinking about her just showing up and inviting people. Do these people have their flu, Covid and TDAP vaccines??? So many questions, the disrespect is so real. My husband would be damned to sleeping in the guest room with that behavior lol

My MIL pulled that shit the first week with my premature 4lb baby we were able to bring home, every time she came by I locked myself in the bedroom and my fiancé would kick them out. Then we didn't see her until Christmas and our girl was born in April!

With the girl and stepdad- like he obviously hates her and that’s a whole other topic, but I feel like the joke wasn’t actually a joke and was mean spirited, and imo jokes about genitals are too far, so like her making a small dick joke about her stepdad is super not okay, but he hella over reacted by causing a scene and taking her stuff for TWO WEEKS. I just don’t like small dick jokes bc like a lot of people are very self conscious about that and they can’t change it

In the first story- I think it depends on tone and how she normally talks to him. It could've been a snapping point for him.

Shes 13. If thats how he behaves at a 'snapping' point then he shouldnt be around kids.
@sugamama305Ай бұрын
@@KayJoyyi much rather prefer his SNAPPING point be taking away electronics rather than let’s say…. child ab*se.. like grounding a child is so far from a breaking point- and also there comes a point where we have to look past the “step” in step father, because he raised her so it’s not like he’s just upset about some random little kid but that’s his kid
@de507220 күн бұрын
@KayJoyy she's 16. So that does change the dynamic. And while it may have been excessive of a punishment, it's nowhere close to be child abuse. So it depending on how her tone was and if this kind of thing has happened before it very well could have been his snapping point and he's still human and allowed to have a snapping point like everyone else. Especially with someone who is almost an adult and knows better

That last one wow. Like i sympathize with her and her husband. Her husband got abandoned by his mom and now all of a sudden she wants to be there all the time. That mom is shitty 100% and the guy is blinded by it due to the whole thing. Get that man into therapy and tell that mother in-law that she left him and she cant just come in and make ot all about her and being there now. She left him and even if ahe feels bad about ot now she cant take that back. And she needs to deal with the consequences of not havinga relationship with him. Like he needs to work though therapy and set boundaries with his mom. And i know its all new again. But he going to lose his wife and baby if he keeps trying to do whatever her mom wants. Sorry but dont Chase the pass focus on your future. He going to lose his future if he doesnt realized she doesnt truly care

I don't know what thst first guy does or doesn't have in his pants, but I bet he drives a really big truck with a suspiciously clean bedliner.

After having a baby you really don't want anybody around unless you are very very close to them. You're exhausted you're overwhelmed I would be pissed off if I had an overbearing mother-in-law.. my brother-in-law would just show up whenever. I also had a neighbor that would just randomly knock on my door, really loud until I opened it. I was pregnant I needed my sleep right before I gave birth my husband told her that she was not allowed to come over unless she was invited.. he also told my brother-in-law that no more stopping by uninvited. Because I know how it is you're half-naked dirty hair you're trying to nurse your baby you're exhausted you don't want anybody coming and looking at you.. I can understand if she came in to do laundry, maybe cook some meals was a very nurturing sweet lady. She is literally overbearing and nosy
