Ship building is probably the most fun you can have in this game, along with outpost building.

Man! Bravo 👏 I love your additions I built this ship before mods was available and couldn't think of a way for the squared spot on the back. Using the braking engine looks great! Hahah you said my weapons were majorly lacking 🤣 that was my normal load out. I was able to afford enough power to all, and the suppressor helped for stealing ships. I love what matilija has created, and using the stairs is a great idea. Lol idk why I had that much fuel. 🤷‍♂️ I really like what you've created and what you did for interior too wow that looks amazing, and the extra bedroom door that's really nice! Oh and as for the slow engines you can use the darkstar mod for there version of the sal 6830's they can have 180speed with better mobility.

Great job Scorpio (and Dr. Shoots for the original) You gave your viewers some great idea for building ships with no ladders. One critique that I have, of the video itself, not the ship, is that your background music for me is too close to the volume level of your voiceover. This is just my opinion of course, but the guide would be more enjoyable if the level of music was lower than it is now, compared to your voice. I would also love to hear those little audio cues that you get while building the ship, like selecting and snapping modules.

Weird.. I have the music actually mixed to 10% of the volume, and boosted my voice over up. As for the game volume, I'm still working on getting game audio to record along with my voice over. I can do it, but the file only saves as an .mkv. My editing software doesn't accept that format

@@TeamScorpioRI Oh shit, I see... Is it possible to record your voiceover after you've compiled your clips into your editor and cut them down the way you like? It's easy to record everything you need to say while watching the video real-time, and also allows you to re-record if you aren't happy with the first take.

Hi man how do you put turrets inside the habs? And the fish tank?

Those come from decoration mods. The fish tank is a stand alone mod, and the turrets come from either Better Living or Betamax's Functional Decor (both are really good mods). They should be under the Outpost category in the Creation Store

I have a build ready, but it still would use mods (specifically the Place Doors Yourself Mod). That mod is rough to remove as it breaks previous ships built (though the same is in reverse).

hey Scorpio can you build the vengeance mk3 less than 40 meters?

Not without coming across build issues. I tried changing the 3x1 for a 2x1, and then removing the front landing gear. This let me slide the nose section back one space. The issue is that the landing bay then clashes with the wing section. You would need to change out the Stroud Cap A's on the front of the wings for something a little slimmer. Now, if you are using some mods, you may be able to swing something, You could use the Matilija mod to add a stairs hab to the ship, keeping it ladderless. But if you are just using vanilla parts, there is really no way to keep the shape and shorten it as well.
