These are beautiful! I just learned the coptic stitch. Does gluing the stitching make it stronger?

Thank you so much! 😊Coptic stitch is such a lovely technique. Yes, gluing the stitching can definitely make it stronger and more durable, I believe it helps protect the spine of the book. especially if you plan to use the book frequently. It helps keep everything in place. Happy bookbinding!

Your work is so lovely. What material do you use on top of the mull paper on the spine?

@@yourheartcraftedlife Thank you so much!😊 On top of the mull, I used linen cloth for the first layer and Unryu Kozo/Chiri white paper for the second layer.
