Normal Quincy was about to immobilize everyone there with his ability 👀. The only reason it didn't work on Byakuya(remember he used it on Byakuya Cour 2. It didn't work as it hit his clothes. Senjumaru weaved his, Rukia Renji and Ichigo's)is because of his SK clothing(they block hypnosis/control abilities as shown with Pepe). Plus as he said, his Reiatsu was full of holes and greatly restrained thanks to the 9 other seals and the chair.

Kyoraku really shows why he is fitting to be the Head Captain. His decisions to free Aizen and unlock Zaraki's full potential by fighting Unohana make this war slightly favorable to them. He even goes to the world of the living to warn Ichigo's friend if the situation becomes worse. No offense to Yama but I don't think he will do these things if he is the current Head Captain. He even refuses to make Orhime restore his arm because he doesn't want help from a human. Kyoraku on the other hand are willing to do anything to protect the Soul Society and other worlds by taking extreme risks. Surprisingly, he also makes Central 46 go along with his decisions.

Additionally, them being young & highly capable is why it only diminished their power but didn't kill them. This is why Ichigo’s mother for example survived it while Uryu’s sickly mother could not. This also explains why Robert (an older Quincy) was very afraid when he wasn’t chosen to go above with Yhwach. - NaNaNa Schrift is “U The Underbelly”, with it he can analyze the Reiatsu of a target over time. This allows him to determine an opponent's spiritual power distribution. He can then imprint his letter onto his target which is called the "Morphine Pattern". This allows him to pinpoint the holes in a target's Reiatsu and attack them, increasing their size until the target's Reiatsu depletes and they are eventually rendered unconscious. It’s certainly powerful given that it worked on Aizen, but as mentioned, Aizen is restrained which is likely the only reason there are holes in his Reiatsu - The anime alters the Nanao and Kenpachi interaction slightly. In the manga the order of events are very different, Ukitake hadn’t even used the Kamikake ritual and they were all in Mayuri’s lab for this scene. Kenpachi does arrive looking for Yachiru, however it’s Kisuke who 1st stops him from trying to leave, which seemingly annoys Kenpachi, and Nanao steps in before saying what she says here. This scene is slightly better in the manga in that it shows how seriously Nanao is taking her role as Lieutenant, that she’s willing and capable to step up when Shunsui is occupied (Cause he was still in Muken talking to Aizen at this point in the manga). Gotta give her props for stepping up to an upset Kenpachi. - Shunsui reaffirms the reality of what it means to be a Soul Reaper, they are not heroes, things like honor or pride don’t matter when it comes to getting the job done. Shunsui held similar beliefs when he fought Starrk, so it’s good to see him bring those same characteristics to his role as head captain, he will do what must be done no matter what, so i’m glad he checked the other captains even if he understands his feelings.. - Sidenote: Fans are jokingly upset that a Yoruichi backshot moment was removed, as was jokes surrounding Orihime’s dress in the episode.

-In the original Aizen actually says "I'm glad you were rewarded by your efforts in the battle against me" or something along these lines making him slightly less of a dick to Rukia. Also remember that Kyouraku could only remove three of the keys sealing him? He already removed them, so he can't remove any other. -If you remember, this is the Kidou he used against Komamura and Ichigo back in the day. Ichigo managed to break it at full power (full incantation). -They cut a scene in which the monsters start seeping through Yhwach and the Quincies are scared. Haschwalth then says "don't worry, you aren't the enemy. The true enemies of the Soul King are the Shinigami." And, indeed, the monsters ignore the Quincies and go straight for the Shinigami. -The one who attacked Aizen was the Sternritter U "the Underbelly", NaNaNa Nahjakoop. His ability is to observe the flux of Reishi, identify weak spots (the underbelly, so to say) and expose them. That's how he managed to immobilize Aizen.

Just an FYI, Ichigo is currently probably on par give or take with his Dangai form. After he regained his powers in the Fullbringer arc they came back at the level he was at after his body returned to a pre-Dangai state. The reason he is stronger at the end of the Fullbring arc is because his Fullbringer powers wove themselves into his Shinigami powers. Dangai Ichigo probably could have defeated the whole Gotei 13 at that time, maybe not all at the same time if Mayuri was around to do his ridiculous Mayuri shit, haha. Difficult to know how the unused Bankai from the Captains would factor in. The most we have seen Soul King's palace Ichigo do is dominate some mid level Stern Ritter, and overpower YWHACH with his Almighty not activated - This probably puts him as similar but slightly stronger than an individual Squad Zero member. I would say they are within a reasonable distance of each other but we don't know if Ichigo will have other new upgrades, and Dangai Ichigo was in Bankai state so that also makes it difficult to compare at the moment.

Aizen actually got clocked. He really got rendered immobile for 5 minutes and was lowkey salty Also the Kon and Ichigo moment is actually a change from the manga. The stuff Kon said he THOUGHT Ichigo would do to him was actually what Ichigo did in the manga. In the manga, the fight with Ichigo and Uryu never happened. Uryu shot the platforms where they were all standing which made the gang fall away from the Soul Palace. On the way down, there was a comedic moment where Kon started fucking around and made Ichigo hit his head which knocked him out for a bit. When Ichigo woke up, he heard the news, found Kon, and beat the hell out of him. With the change in how Ichigo ends up falling, they had to change the moment as Kon was no longer the reason why Ichigo was rendered unconscious
