The thing in this show was, so many characters never used their bankai even when they knew about the threat. Yamamoto and anyone else didn't think Aizen to be a threat big as Yhawch if anyone's watching that, that's why so many characters never went into full power or bankai or further training.

TBF, in the case with Yamamoto, Kyoraku and Shinji they can't use their bankais around other people. Granted we wouldn't know about this til later on but it does make sense for them. Soifon already used her bankais twice in one day, not sure if she could do it again. Everyone else that has access to one... yea u got me there

They underestimated him because aizen hides his strength very well. To the eyes of the captains, he's just a shinigami that is not as strong as Yamamoto, who's only using his shikai. I mean, shinji thought that aizen fights activating his shikai sometimes instead of thinking that all fights against aizen are manipulated by his sword since the beginning. Soi fon thought that she could kill him with her shikai, but aizen is so strong that he can cancel suzumebachi, and soi fon didn't even think of aizen having such reiatsu to cancel another's one abilities

¿Eres estúpido o lo haces a propósito? Este es el principio mismo del shikai de Aizen: alterar los sentidos de las personas, ya sea la vista, el oído, el gusto, etc.... Ichigo les estaba gritando desde el principio, pero los demás no podían escuchar debido al Shikai de Aizen sobre ellos, Aizen hacía imposible escuchar a sus enemigos. En resumen, infórmate sobre Bleach porque se está volviendo estúpido tener que explicarte las habilidades de los personajes.

Love Aizen but I hate this moment where he can negate Soi Fon's shikai by simply being too high level? I'd rather have a villain outmanoeuvre or dodge or parry rather than simply ignore an attack. What he did here was kinda lazy and unfair.

@cheangizzz kenny explained it in soul society n if it wasn't sp vs sp soi fon would be the strongest character in series going around two tapping every villain with no difficulty

Aizen has 2x Reiatsu then normal Captain. He can negate shit just by flexing his Reiatsu.

@cheangizzz yea like finding a counter play for the ability like a kido shield but if it wasn't sp vs sp aizen just doesn't lose at all nobody would be able to counter his ability

Put aside however you feel about HInamori for a moment. This, right here, is why Aizen is a dick. He could have killed her ages ago. Should have. He admits that himself. But he doesn't. She couldn't suffer at his hands anymore if she were dead. Despite her already being rendered near useless (and I don't care what anyone says, she never does anything significant after this, other than stay alive and keep her rank somehow, and I am convinced that is largely pity from Shinji).

She still has the skills to be a lieutenant. She's proficient in kido and whatnot, but she isn't strong enough to take on sternritters or anything. Rangiku isn't either, or Kira for that matter.
