What I love about this is that he doesn't try to sound like his dad. He's got his own sound and he's comfortable with that. Still, they were true to the spirit of the Jim Croce sound. Thanks for this video.

Wish I could of seen them both play together sadly we cannot but he does look just like his dad. One of my prized possessions is the 3 croce vinyls I got from my grandma when she passed away last year

I posted this video and did sound for AJ that night. he really was great. I wouldn't want to give people the impression that he is jsut carrying on his Dad's music. AJ sang mostly originals that night with just a few tasteful covers including this one. This was toward the end of the show when the vibe was super loose and intimate, and it was a request that I could tell AJ was super happy to honor. Thank you AJ I first heard this song when I was driving in Baghdad/Iraq listening to one of your dad's records, I was 18 years old back then. I loved every tune I had in my collection back then and I am so glad to stumble upon this page, it brought back wonderful memories of my childhood as well as wonderful music by Jim Croce. I would loved to have seen what Jim would've accomplished in his life had he still been here. He left behind a wonderful legacy in the short time he was here. He was one of the greatest singers, songwriters, and storytellers of all time. A favorite of mine. Wonderful job A.J. 👍!!!

Jim is buried at Haym Solomon Memorial Park in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Great songs! For all of us who have lost loved ones. Life goes that fast and we will see them again that soon!
