What I love about this is that he doesn't try to sound like his dad. He's got his own sound and he's comfortable with that. Still, they were true to the spirit of the Jim Croce sound. Thanks for this video.

Wish I could of seen them both play together sadly we cannot but he does look just like his dad. One of my prized possessions is the 3 croce vinyls I got from my grandma when she passed away last year

Wow, I just ran across this video. He looks so much like his father. His voice is softer, but so awesome. The guitar playing is wonderful. Hail A.J. Thank you for remembering your father, who died much too young!

It's very sad day to see AJ singing his Daddy's huge world wide hit. He got his own way and it's heartwarming that JC's love of music has been remembered by his lovely boy.

I posted this video and did sound for AJ that night. he really was great. I wouldn't want to give people the impression that he is jsut carrying on his Dad's music. AJ sang mostly originals that night with just a few tasteful covers including this one. This was toward the end of the show when the vibe was super loose and intimate, and it was a request that I could tell AJ was super happy to honor. I wish him the best and hope he comes back to the Rose! Thanks all for watching. -grahamsound

Thank you AJ I first heard this song when I was driving in Baghdad/Iraq listening to one of your dad's records, I was 18 years old back then. I loved every tune I had in my collection back then and I am so glad to stumble upon this page, it brought back wonderful memories of my childhood as well as wonderful music by Jim Croce. Please continue your dad's legacy and style, great job

I would loved to have seen what Jim would've accomplished in his life had he still been here. He left behind a wonderful legacy in the short time he was here. He was one of the greatest singers, songwriters, and storytellers of all time. A favorite of mine. Wonderful job A.J. 👍!!!

Jim's guitar talent is insane plus that husky voice from God. But kudos to AJ, I know it will be hard for you to walk in his footsteps but just do whatever talent you have.

Jim is buried at Haym Solomon Memorial Park in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Great songs! For all of us who have lost loved ones. Life goes that fast and we will see them again that soon! You sound great AJ. We miss your father. Hello type in "Ron Howard Palace" listen to Opie sing "Lady"! Also type "Ron Howard cover" listen to "The Dance"!

I had the chance to see A. J and Micheal this year. when he did 4 of his dads songs. it hit me like a rock, I stood up and said thank you A. J... you could of heard a pin Drop... Thanks A. J.. thanks.. Jim And Maury for the songs , you gave us all... I am on face book Bob Croce White..... .

When i was just oh about six my older brother had a jim croce 8-track it was blue, i believe it was a greatest hits alblum i wore that thing out loved it!!!

A.J., beautifully done. Can not take that from you. With all due respect, when I heard your father sing it, pure poetry.y it was only on L.P. 33, yes vynil or heck disk but it was pure music. Maybe I just miss the old days. Please don't stop singing your father's music. Us older generation still love listening.

I still love ur dad, AJ.. take care and keep on spreading you and your dad's love. Jim was a lover, and not a fighter for those that took his stories so far ;-) I still tear up a bit hearing time in a bottle. I regret that your dad never got to see how much the world truly loved him and his work.
