KZbin algorithm works like a snowball. It takes a lot of effort to gain a sizeable audience, but when you get that audience doubling your viewership every year is relatively easy. People who have been consistently growing get recommended to more people through the algorithm and that in turn contributes to more growth.

Totally agree with defining what success means for you (don't listen to other's version of it - you have to define what it is for YOU). Then, just like AJ, iterate like crazy. Break those lofty goals down to iterable chunks - right down to what do I need to accomplish this month on "x". I tell my students this all the time. Also = time is your greatest asset and it's the same for everyone. If you choose to use your "time-capital" on just playing games, then you're (at least if your version of success isn't e-sports) ... you're wasting time. AJ is so insightful - thank you for making and sharing this interview!!

Did you discuss emissions and carbon footprint of such a vehicle compared to commercial airliners the industry currently operates? It would be interesting to understand why Hermeus believes the future of passenger transport is with hypersonic vehicles. It seems like fuel cost and emissions would be a large issue.

@@malachiteofmethuselah9713 I think so too. A reliable jet engine and ram jet combination "powertrain" is something the military really needs right now for hyper-sonic missiles. Supersonic air travel has been tried already, and IMO the business case isn't there even if they can make the sonic booms quieter. At best I can imagine the future Gulfstreams and Learjets of the world will be supersonic, but not commercial airliners.

I wonder if any of their DoD contracts desls with the unmanned aircraft the military wants to accompany the NGAD and potentially even future variants of the F-35 I think Anduril is pursuing this and some of the big primes
