If one believes in God, he/she should strive to worship him in the way He has commanded. Just doing good and loving all means you do not have a divinely guided way of life. Many things which are good or bad are not obvious and can be interpreted differently. Basing your actions on your own judgement is egoistic and can lead to harm unknowingly. In Islam, everything we do should be for God’s pleasure, and ultimately it is for the benefit of mankind

Dieing as a Muslim sinner is better than dieing as a kafir Also the purification of character and bad habits is a gradual process which takes time for most people, only exceptions occur where people transform over night. Make Islam easy for reverts, be soft and open the doors wide for them and then let them break off bad habits slowly, at least they have Iman and believe the shahadah
