I was in the same boat as this guy. I was born into a practicing, Allah fearing muslim family, lost my way. Went through alcohol and drug abuse and became atheist, I use to mock Islam, Allah and his Prophets and then Allah opened up my blacken heart and brought me back to Islam. Ever since then Ive been asking Allah for forgiveness. I am now 35 years old and recently I've been making all my 5 daily prays. Alhamdulilah I always ask Allah to make me a better muslim. Allah has blessed me In so many ways and I am truly grateful to Allah for opening my eyes and cleaning my heart and soul.

Allah is the One who decides your fate and the fate of your family, and He is the One who provides for us all. "Surely you cannot guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom He wills, and He knows best the ones [who are fit to be] guided" (Surah al-Qasas, verse 56). Constantly ask Allah to guide your brother and his wife, and to grant you righteous, pious children, like the du'a of Ibrahim AS, and give up your sins so your du'a has more weight. Allah will never deny you what you ask - except that He turns you to something better. Put effort towards formally learning the deen's teachings on parenthood so you ready yourself for marriage, and do not leave gently inviting your brother to Allah's way, because Allah owns his heart, but He also owns yours. And know that should any such hardships ever befall you, they are only an opportunity to relieve you of your sins and to gain favour with Allah through perseverance and gratitude. Hasbunallah - do not fear what is in Allah's hands alone!

Been crying as i watch this, i was born and raised in Muslim family. This channel has popped up in my feed, and clicked it, watched the whole thing as i was having dinner and drinking alcohol as misguided born muslim actually my family were so religious and taught me and my brothers and sisters the religion, also memorized the koran Alhamdulilaah even though I’m non arabic and didn’t understand the meaning. I am Romanian, grew up Christian, Greek Catholic church, going to church almost every Sunday, grea-grandfather was a priest, my dad is religious , my mom not so much. Before meeting my husband (Egyptian) i started to be interested about islam, had some muslim friends, one was always ready to answer my questions. He is a true friend that helped me, bought the Quran in my language. Than met my husband, he wasnt so religious but he explained everything and ley me decide to revert or not. I reverted one day before our wedding, that was 7y ago, Alhamdulillah! 2 months ago started to wear hijab. This 7y were not easy, now we live in Romania which is so traditional and Christian orthodox & my family also are not making it so easy for me. Especially cause my boys are raised in the Islamic how, learning Quran , no Christmas ,no Santa nothing. Its mot easy at all , but Alhamdulillah Allah is making it easy. I pray to Him to ease my parents heart so they can accept our religion and everything. Inshallah one day they will happy with my decisions. Islam is the best thing that happened to me, my husband became much more religious alhamdulillah and together we are stronger in Islam.

Exactly. Following the idea of total freedom as long as u don’t hurt others seem nice at first glance because the devil sugar-coat it. But if one follow it they will eventually be lost because there are trillion possible ways to about everything in life and most of which end in evil or misery that we didn’t plan for initially of course. We really need the guidance that show us which of the trillions of ways are the valid ones that will not let us end up being miserable or empty. I am gonna share this with my close friends and relatives in sha Allah. Our family and friends need this guidance who are far away from Allah even if they're born muslims. My sister (sibling) especially need to watch this, i am gonna send this to her now (its 3 AM Masha'Allah, she's fast asleep with my mother in the same bed next to me) She's going through very tough times recently both physically and mentally and make my cancer cured sickly wan mother (Alhamdulillah, may Allah make my mother as healthy as she was before cancer) worry for her nonstop. My mother is 45 years old but looks around 60 years old with her complexion, as old as my father. And we live in very Indian-like rural areas with closest city around 200 kms/124 miles away from our town which may took 6-7 hours to reach for bad road infrastructure, but we are pretty well off compare to the vast majorities in our area, kinda like low middle class(only south asians can relate😅). P.S i am sufferings from depression too as only child and brother of my only parents and sister though the little one but still struggling to pass the entrance exams to become a medical doctor for last 4-5 years. And missing a lots of salah eventually for months. May Allah forgive me and my family and guide us. Ameen.

This is amazing mashallah. I have gone through my phase of questioning when I was a teenager, I never questioned Allah nor Our prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم but when I watched this series of circulating videos of beheading, torture and killing with the Quran in the background, I think it was called al Jaheem, as a teenager I was scared and hated hearing Quran with a specific kind of tajweed. I had nightmares for years but one day, I started thinking what if all that was fabricated to make us young people look at our religion as one of terror and hate. My grandfather was an imam and khateeb, my grandmother gave lectures to women in the mosque, my father prayed Tahajjud and قيام الليل until he passed away next to his prayer mat.
