Accepting an invitation extended by the Ajahn Brahm Society Sri Lanka, Ajahn Brahmali Maha Thero visited Sri Lanka in March 2024. During this visit Venerable Maha Thero conducted a retreat for a Meditative Group of Monks, Nuns and lay disciples at a soothing, beautiful environment in Kadugannawa, sharing sutta based dhamma talks and meditation sessions. He also conducted several programs of Dhamma teachings in Colombo for professionals and general public.
Ajahn Brahmali Maha Thero is a senior disciple of the renowned Meditation Master Ajahn Brahmavamso Maha Thero and resides at Bodhinyana Forest Monastery in Perth, Australia since 1996. Ajahn Brahmāli Maha Thero is renowned for his excellent knowledge of the Pali language, his enthusiasm for the Early Buddhist Texts and teaching the suttas. He travels extensively in Australia, Asia, Europe and USA to share his knowledge and experience through dhamma talks and retreats and has a large number of followers around the world.
