Hi there, my mother has recently had the Ajax security system installed to her home and has now left to live overseas for 6 months. She has the software for the system on her cellphone which she has with her overseas. Her key fob remote was mailed to her but unfortunately she had departed prior its arrival. My question is can I possibly pair the key fob to her Alarm system without entering the software app she has on her cellphone? I have requested that she send me an invitation as a user so I can download the software on my cellphone but unfortunately this is beyond her as she is elderly and not familiar with “technology” 😬

Can Ajax systems be programmed remotely or make programming changes remotely?

Hello Nicolas. Yes, as soon as the Ajax Hub has access to the internet, you can make any changes remotely if you are allowed. There is also a PC application allowing integrators to help their clients remotely but hey can also do it from their Pro app when given access by the end user.

Thank you for question! To control partitions separately, you will need to enable group mode. (Details at support.ajax.systems/en/ajax-group-mode/) With the mobile app, the control tab with the remote icon will be replaced with the various groups you have created. However, for the physical remote, please refer to the ‘’ Key fob operation when group mode is activated’’ section for the available options. The keyfob can only be bound to one group.
