Thank you for putting effort into making this clear. I have not had a success at this yet. However I had done it with scheduling the it yet. I don’t typically schedule it since I typically just post that we will be live. Life happens and sometimes we are not. I did want to get the stream hitting the web site since we have been forcing people to do Facebook. KZbin is killing me so I’m trying to simplify my life since I’m a one person media team and I can do more with less on the website.

Hey AJay! Super helpful and informative video. I was wondering when you schedule the Facebook Live earlier in the week from the church FB page, when you end the livestream will it save that video? Same question about the embeded livestream, will there be an option to save that video you embeded on the church website? Thanks!

Yes it will save the video under the page or profile that the stream was hosted on and thank you

Ok, a question AJay. When you embed the FB live post on the website, can people who don't have a FB account be able to view the stream? This would solve a major issue for me.

@@AJaytheCEO Great. I just pasted the embeded code on a WP site on a new page. When I created the page, gave it a title and then pasted the code, I got nothing...even when I hit preview, nothing. What am I doing wrong? Does this only work with scheduled events? I was using "use camera" option on FB live to test it.

I would make an archive page with the FB video code on that page

I just want to let you know that you have blessed our church and without your videos the quality of our Facebook Live stream would be terrible. I have spent many hours watching your video to help send the message out in our community during this tough time for many. Do have a video with suggestions to help correct dropped framed percentages during Facebook live Streaming?

That sounds like a computer issue causing that. What specs are on the system you are using to stream?

AJaytheCEO the church has been using an iMac for the past three years. We have been using Proclaim but no live streaming. That iMac has had a power supply issue so we had to quickly adjust and started using my MacBook Pro

Hello again, I have been scheduling Facebook Lives for my church (since Covid hit) and have been adding it to our website using the embed code. Now for the last 3 weeks, I have been scheduling and adding the embed code as always, then when it goes live, the code is different so I have to quickly change the code, and then it works. The screen it shows is one small thumbnail on the left hand of the screen and on the right side, it says something like Video is live but it doesn't show the actual "Live" video. Just wondering if this has happened to you and what your workaround might me? Thanks again for your videos! Jenny

Yes it has, Facebook changed something and it is not 100% working as designed.

Nicely done Ajay...been following your work recently and I have enjoyed it. For this though, I was wondering why you didn't just check the option of having a persistent key, so you don't need to re-visit the website every time to to change the code. Any reason for that?

I didn't click it so my key wouldn't show on the video. I normally use that at my church. Thanks for the compliments

Hey Jeremiah, I normally do that but Facebook hasn't been honoring that 100%. When they went from rtmp to rtmps it killed a bunch of live streams and reset that key for everyone. Normally it does not change but I just make it a habit to check it.

Great video. We scheduled a video, but forgot to get the embed code before the Fb post. I can't find the embed code now. Any idea where that is? If I go back to edit the post, the only embed code I get is a link to the post itself. I need the video. Thanks for all the great videos, they've been super helpful. ~ Susan

It is available by clicking edit on your stream as an administrator of the Facebook page you are streaming to or by clicking share on the video

@@AJaytheCEO If I look at Upcoming and Scheduled videos, the video is scheduled, but my only choice is Edit Post, View Post, and Go Live Now. I am admin, but not owner. I don't see how to "click edit on a stream"

No it wouldn't as it is copying the video from Facebook's servers and not your computer

Hello AJ, thank you so much for all your videos! They have been so helpful to me and my church. I'm doing work for my church setting up the FB Lives on a schedule and I am doing it from home while my Pastor is at church, we both are admins for our church page. I set up the scheduled "live" post. How can my Pastor access it so we can go live from the same post? I hope this is making sense. We are doing Holy week lives this week and trying to get better every day leading up to Easter’s live, anyways, we tried today but my Pastor set up an additional post instead and went live from there. We are all new at this so we appreciate any help you can provide :) Thanks & Take Care! Jenny

If he is an admin he should see it from the video library or the planned to go live post on the page. There will be an admin edit button only y'all can see

great video really helpful thanks, but when I embed the code onto my church website and the live stream is running is just has a black screen that says 'VIDEO UNAVAILABLE' This video may no longer exist, or you don't have permission to view it'. Any suggestions?

That's an issue with Facebook. Mine does the same until I start the live stream

Hey AJay. Do you have to update the embeded feed on your website for each worship service or is there a way to keep the same embed code for each stream?

We can avoid this with Restream but that is an additional paid service that would be a battle to explain to the trustees even at $19 a month.
