So the other day I started watching videos, like yours. That helped a lot. Today's adventure started out as a search for using cheap IP security cameras for streaming, yep it can be done. Might be something for you to touch on in the future.

Steve Ovat You connect it with an app called NDI HX Camera and then download the plug in for it for OBS. It’s super easy. I use 3 iPhones as my webcams for our streams at church. It’s helpful when you have a small budget and now you can do multiple angles.

Ok. I got two ?s 1. Our laptop is a Dell, so when I pulled up the OBS software, it only gave me a single and not a split screen. 2. When I tried to hook up the external, it didn't recognize it. Do I need to install the disc that comes with the camera? I only plugged in the USB cord from the camera directly to the laptop. Thank you in advance for responding.

Thanks Monte. I was awestruck by your instructional. You were the first that I ever stumbled into on KZbin to give an alternative, an option for indie-minded DIYer like me, to make worship viable even in this virus laden world. Zoom is not only expensive and ties you to a paid subscription to use its already jammed video conferencing platforms. Because of this, you made me have a second look. I belong to a growing, God-fearing group who was used to full, live worship. When COVID-19 struck the US mainland in March and got worse in CA, we thought of ways on how to pray to the world for healing and deliverance from this black veil that's upon this house(US). Though at first we had no streaming issues, as users grow, so did the traffic. That's our plight now. Just to log on to Zoom is already an issue. And since we also live stream via FB, which is being an ass by cutting part of our opening video claiming it violated proprietary rights, I started looking around for another way. Thanks the Lord coz I found you. Hopefully you can share more info as to how we could make our live streaming crisp and appealing. And avoid the property rights issues. Big guns like Sony wants every piece of the pie, so does Warner and Universal, that even cause oriented, non-profit, charismatic, evangelical ministries like ours are being preyed on, so sickening it makes me throw up just the thought of it.
