Thanks for the video. I started making a Baker Boy hat today. The video is helping me along the way. I watched the Great British Sewing Bee episode that you were in where this cap was made. It gave me the inspiration to try this, and I would like a cap. Hi from Canada

In usa this is referred to as a newsboy hat. Fascinating to find different names for things in other counties.

We also use these terms interchangeably in Europe. I think the French have a Gavroche cap which looks the same.

Hi Adam, I got mine through Sewing Street before you got it back in stock at Etsy. I have one question, does the pattern include the 1cm seam allowance and I can just cut following the line, or I should add 1cm around the cut line?

Is the pattern still available? I can't find it via the links.

Could you be please more specific on the measurements of the pieces. Like I should cut the pieces according to my head size.

Adam, Did you interface the whole piece of your main fabric, then cut the pattern pieces out? Or interface each piece separately? (guessing you used a fusible interfacing)
@AdamJamesBrooks3 жыл бұрын
Hi Theresa - I used a fusible interfacing and cut the pieces individually then fused them to the main fabric to save any waste, however you can interface the whole fabric piece first - this is called block fusing - and then cut your pieces once fused - hope that helps!
