I just got a cochlear implant and the processer that goes over the ear is really uncomfortable. A fellow patient showed me a newsboy cap he had modified to hold (and disguise) the processor. But paying $$$ to alter something that might not work didn't set right -- got plenty of material and know how to work a sewing machine so this was great.

Still like the orange shirt. Still looks good. My first hat pattern was included in a regular shirt pattern as a "learn to sew in a collar" project, and very similar to the pattern you chose. So I didn't expect you to have problems. Denim, now, that could have been a problem, it looked heavy. But that worked out also. The hat is awesome. I find working in the yard is easier with a hat than with sunglasses, I can see better.

Thanks! The denim might have been a problem if it was new, but since this was taken out of scraps from old jeans that I'd worn apart, it was much thinner than normal.
