You beat me to it... I ride enduro, trials, and vintage mx, the trials is by far the most challenging but has improved my riding on everything including street bikes

i once used a log bigger than that to fine tune fork valving (shim pack). got it so when i hit the log mid way up with the front tire in 2nd gear with some speed... the bike stayed perfectly level while the fork and shock transferred rebound force at speeds that cancelled out the log impact. fork rebound creating shock preload, resulting in shock rebound that made the rear wheel hop over the log like it wasn't there. after watching this i'm realizing how well that bike was dialed.

9:35 you got the right idea slam the forks down and use rebound to get front tire up on the tire now just need a second hop into the front pegs right after so you can use the rebound from the shock to get the back tire up there. Good first try bro.

That tire is an extremely difficult obstacle for your first time… lol that’s like putting someone into supercross whoops on a mx track.. I’ve raced enduro for a few years and I’m not sure I’d be able to ride that because I don’t typically go smash skidder tires for fun. I’d also like to add 4 strokes are a bit tricky with that stuff with the tendency to stall. A 300 2 stroke would be better to learn on. A bit lighter and they are really hard to stall
