As an old fart (57) I love watching these videos. I raced mx from 14 - 18 and then again at 24. Broke my tib and fib on a tabletop and ended up screwed and plated for 4 months so went jet ski racing after that to save my bones. But mx is still the best thing I've ever done with my clothes on.

hint hint on suspension, use a torque wrench on the clamps so the bushings are not binding inside from being squeezed

I would not call that horrible, AT ALL. I thought it was great. Last time when you were riding the MX track, you did what you needed to do, which was put in the time. This time, with the presence of riders like Jett and Hunter, the peer pressure, and having a rabbit to chase helps with the motivation and pushing beyond your comfort zone. Best of all, you didn't crash or get hurt. It looked like a very successful day to me. Keep it up.

I’ve got a similar issue with the easily blistering hands, I used superglue on the blisters and that usually done the trick to get me through the race day 🤣 Probably not the healthiest option but works 🤷‍♂️

Looking at specs the Renthal 827 is fairly close to the 839 (stk HON), biggest diff is width, 827 is 811mm vs. 802mm on the stock Honda 839. Thoughts are that the wider bar is more controllable. More leverage, but more control (counterintuitive). Honda’s are quick turning as is. There are slight differences in the specs but guessing the width is what helps lessen “over control” leading to knifing the front that @Ajcatanzaro mentioned. Thoughts?

Nope! I don’t ride enough, so it’s important that I have a solid technical foundation or else I would get myself killed riding the tracks I do! With time on the bike I imagine I’ll look a lot more loose and make more mistakes because I’ll be able to push 😁
