Giggs is not underrated...what planet do you live on? He is universally reccognized as one of the all time greatest premier league players and is widely considered the prototype for the greatest premier league winger during his prime.

This is why i laugh when kids say hazard is better than giggs 😅😅, people think giggs is mainly about running past defenders, yes he did that , but in the number 10 role he was still better than anyone at man utd .

He did not maintain his pace past 2003. And he retired at 40. Don't believe me? Ask Ryan Giggs himself who stated this in 2011, at age 37 and then later in 2020 Q - "You’ve played more than 800 games for Manchester United but which do you think was your best?" RG - "The night we beat Porto 4-0 in the Champions League quarter-final in 1997 was one of my best. Until then I’d always played on the wing, but that was one of the first games where I was involved in a more central role. It’s something I’ve done a lot more as I’ve got older." Q - "Why do you think that is?" A - "I think it’s been a natural progression. I played in central midfield as a schoolboy but as I grew up I became known for my pace. I’ve got slower in recent years though and I’m not able to knock the ball past a full-back and get the other side of him any more, so I try to use my intelligence." ------------------- Giggs told BeIN Sport: "Around 2003/04 I didn’t have a great start to the season. It was the summer that David Beckham went, that was the probably the closest I got to going. My form wasn’t great, and it was the transition period where I’d gone from flying winger to coming in a little bit more inside. I’d lost that pace. I actually ended the season quite strong. If I hadn’t ended the season strong, who knows. But other than that there wasn’t really a time when the manager would say I wasn’t doing well.
