@@azharpinara2128 everything you said here is correct. Messi in his prime was unstoppable as a player. Its like he was on a different level than the rest of the footballers. But the current Messi eventhough his pace has decreased his core abilities that make him so great are still there mainly his precision, passing, shooting accuracy his vision, understanding of the game. Also Messi has grown as a leader. He was shy and quiet as a youngster but the current Messi gels well with his teammates, made everyone fit in, inspired/motivated them to do their best and he also handles pressure much better than before. That made him win it this time

@@tricksterw415 you are absolutely correct on last paragraph but in imo his abilities decreased after 2018/19 his accuracy in shooting playmaking speed agility or vision because he has more control over everything and was better in all aspects even in 2010/11 his dribbling shooting passing was greater but at that time he doesn’t need to drop deep in midfield to create chances but he still has that ability from starting because his accuracy was so great in every attacking aspect passing shooting or even set piece its just that he doesn’t take free kicks in his starting career

Yeh it is up there for me also. Definitely my favourite sporting moment for sure. The Footballing God’s owed him a World Cup. Been lucky enough to see him 3 times play in the flesh. Like maradona was to our older ones, that is Messi to us. I'm just thankful to god that he gave him trophy his heart desired most. I'm truly happy for Lionel, he just made my childhood. I really appreciate him and his greatness and it just brings tears into my eyes cuz i was honored to live in the era of the little boy from Rosario Santa fe. Why do I think Messi deserves the new award that will be distributed in 2029 (Super Ballon d'Or) for the best player in the last 3 decades Messi won 2 Champions Leagues in the first decade, 2 Champions Leagues in the second decade and the Copa America and World Cup in the third decade.
