Moscheo spoke of Elvis writing checks to people for good stories when all along he was the topic of the best stories himself-. ..his love came in the form (thousands of times) of kindness & generosity. ..but these stories I’ve heard in this interview for the first time now, p are absolutely precious. ..precious pearls being exposed from people who experienced the comfort which Elvis awarded them personally. I’m so afraid that these shared interviews of his friends, fellow musicians and people connected to his tours will become increasingly rare because they’re all that much older now and likely harder to locate. I love this interview, thank you for bringing it forward on this venue. ..✨ Joe Moscheo is an excellent story teller because his memories are unblemished and lucid!

I absolutely loved this walk down memory lane. Joe speaks of Elvis with such honesty, fondness and admiration. These stories about Elvis's kindness and generosity are told time and again by those around him. Many of the band members and backing singers have been interviewed over the years and they recount their experiences of Elvis and without exception they all say what a kind, genuine, dynamic and caring person he was. What a great insight in to Elvis the man. Sadly missed.

Joe you are right up there on my main list of people that have touched me when they speak about Elvis one Charlie Hodge Jerry Schilling Larry Geller Joe Esposito, we're Sunny West is sharing up close and personal stories of Elvis from the stage. the way that you share this story stands out in my head it's one of the top beloved stories I've heard of about him. I love and Trust all the men that I just mentioned and there are many more but especially you guys there's a love tone in your voice just like there was an Elvis's it's very soothing to hear the love in your voices I can tell who really loved Elvis when I listen closely and I feel like I can understand why Elvis gravitated each and everyone of you there is an interconnection and recognition of something special between human beings that are open to the light

What an amazing story and I felt like I was there while he talked about it.... Enjoyed it so much. Thanks! Love is not about money but Elvis has such an empathy to make you feel protected, seen, cared about and if it was something about money that made you worry, he would take that worries from you, because money is what rules the world and it was a means for helping people and to show his love and big heart because money didn't mean anything to him and he didn't want people to suffer. Where are today all those JayZ's, Beyoncé, Kardashians, Rappers, big name singers with way more millions to give to their fans and help?!?! Instead they suck out the last dime out of their fans with some products, expensive tickets etc. to show off on Instagram how rich they become every day, like spitting in the face of every fan. They should be ashamed of themselves. The fans made them rich and they should give something back! Poor souls that will never have what Elvis had.... Love, empathy and compression for their fans!

All those stories they have printed about his drug use is BS. Yes he took pills...prescription pills that he needed for REAL health issues. Yes he needed pills to sleep...but so did Michael Jackson. Michael took way worse drugs for sleeping that Elvis did. Maybe he did get to needing them to help him sleep...so what. Doesnt make him a drug addict.

Karen Ricci I feel sad for the fans that believe like he did that he wasn’t an addict. He was. I love him. But he was an addict. Everyone around him isn’t lying.

@@caseymanuel7199 Being addicted to prescription pain and sleeping pills legally prescribed is morally and qualitatively different from being a heroin or cocaine addict. Yes, the dynamic of addiction is still present, both chemically and psychologically. But throwing the word "addict" around without making clear that this was someone suffering from painful conditions which required medication does a disservice to his character.

It couldn't have been easy being Elvis...and he worked his tail off! I don't define who he was, with the words addict! Yes it's a part of who he was..but he was way more then just an addict!
