21 days after the result of the assembly elections in the state, the cabinet expansion of the grand coalition government began. 39 MLAs were sworn in as ministers in a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan in Nagpur. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar dropped Chhagan Bhujbal from the cabinet using shock tactics. Chhagan Bhujbal is upset because he did not get a chance to become a minister. While expressing his reaction, Bhujbal mentioned Maratha reservation agitator Manoj Jarange.
राज्यातील विधानसभा निवडणुकीचा निकाल लागून 21 दिवस झाल्यानंतर महायुती सरकारच्या मंत्रिमंडळ विस्ताराला मुहूर्त लागला. नागपूरमधील राजभवनात पार पडलेल्या सोहळ्यात 39 आमदारांना मंत्रिपदाची शपथ देण्यात आली. उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवारांनी धक्कातंत्राचा वापर करत छगन भुजबळ यांना मंत्रिमंडळातून वगळले. मंत्रिपदाची संधी न मिळाल्याने छगन भुजबळ हे नाराज झाले आहेत. भुजबळ यांनी आपली प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करताना मराठा आरक्षण आंदोलक मनोज जरांगे यांचा उल्लेख केला.
