Arrma Typhon Grom Review

In this video, we get this new offering from Arrma out of the box and have a look at what you get for your money. AJ, goes over the RC and then we take it out and bash it as it deserves. Then we ask our four questions. Come along for the ride as we find out if this RC is worth buying.

Im really waiting for the Mojave Grom reviews. Then I will buy either the Mojave or Granite Grom and upgrade everything😂

@johanneswicklein4975 As much as I love the Granite Grom, there is too little room in it's chassis to do much. If you plan on upgrading, I'd advise the Mojave. It just has much more room in it. I plan on putting the Castle 1010 combo in mine-cant do that with the Granite (or else I would 😆).

I'm not in the market for another RC but people really seem to like these, so it's nice to see Arrma offering more value for entry level customers and learning from their mistakes.

Awesome job covering the Typhon Grom. I love how they handle and stay flat off jumps. A bit more power would be nice but the 2s brushed system is still plenty of fun at a skate park or offroad. I think Furitek has a nice brushless upgrade specifically designed for the mini Typhon. The Grom is already well supported by lots of companies that offer upgrades. People really do like the Grom platform. Fun, low priced and durable. 👍🏆

Love the Groms, i'm waiting to get the Mohave Grom, please make a review of it when its in stock. Thank you for the great videos. The shocks are the first thing i'm gonna replace, all my Arrmas leaked with stock shocks.

They did. New Typhon Groms are equipped with the upgraded diffs, just asked they’re support.

speaking of wheel adapters Why do RC cars use a "hex" and not a square or triangle, the hex shape is as close to round without being round but a square or triangle would have little chance of stripping out

Is it possible to bind the Spektrum DX3 transmitter to the Typhon Grom with it having a 2 in 1 ESC?

Arrma is a proven hobby brand, the amazon stuff is toys and won't survive the same abuse compared to arrma products.

this guy does like small cars every review he bags them. small rcs are great big ones are clumsy
