50 mph on a car that size is like a rocket ship, they can be a handful. Nevermind that tumble wumble that's part of the fun just sending it to the moon breaking stuff finding the weak spots and upgrading. I had a 100 mph Rustler that was a blast at a now closed big indoor carpet track, them foam tires kept it on the track like it was on rails. Your progressing right along pretty quick brother I expect big things 😎Thanks for sharing.

Not gonna lie I just stumbled over this video of yours after following your pew pew videos for years not knowing you were also into rc's which is def a welcome surprise. I recently picked up this silver grom as well and I did switch my esc connector to xt60 as that's what my ecosystem consists of and this little car is an absolute ripper (seriously 2s is plenty for bashing), I been using the team ae reflex 14b for years now and still love it but it may get some shelf time as I have been super impressed with this little typhon grom (with the exception of the foam less tires as well lol). Done subbed and looking forward to future rc vids.

Nice! I love this little car. You're right, the 2s power is more than most folks will ever need for bashing it around. I also have a Mini Maxx on order and a 3s brushless system waiting on it.😎👊

Welcome to the Big Time TNT RC. The Arrma Typhon is really a nice RC and a good choice . 2S is great for getting used to it then when familiar with it with pop in the big time 3s battery for total smackdown action. Definitely when mash the throttle it becomes very rowdy. Looks like the DSC does a good job for steering correction. I do not have that one but definitely a good for the wishlist. Thanks for sharing and keep on mashing that throttle. ⭐️🏎️🏎️⭐️🇺🇸🏁

@@scarifrougeone7225 I think it's awesome. Amazing speed, and all the upgrades already on it and a gyro for a great price. I think these new Groms are a smokin deal. We were probably into RC about the same era the first time around. I remember the RC 10 coming out and the massive change it brought after trying to race Tamiya Hornets. Had a Midnight Pumpkin and melted several mechanical speed controls by hooking up twelve cells(2 packs in series), making them crazy fast...we thought at the time. BoLink flat cars were located in Lawrenceville, GA just down the road from me. Good times. But...today's brushless motors and LiPo batteries are fantastic! Makes electric planes the way to go too. The whole hobby is fun and much easier to get into today.
@TandTRC2 ай бұрын
It really is crazy how much electrics have advanced. I've never messed with any RC planes or anything, but I do have a little heli that a company just sent me to do a video on. It should be interesting.😆

I supplied my own battery by borrowing my 3s charger and 2200 mAh battery from my AreoScout. It's a tight fit, but a fit nonetheless. This is the body scheme that's my favorite. It's a screamer, but still manageable. Don't underestimate the room you need for a speed rip.

The DSC is really helpful. I bought the Arrma Mojave Grom Bsrushed version when they first came out and then the BLX 223 brushless version came out but I had already upgraded my axles,diffs etc.. so I just bought the mojave grom BLX 223 Brushless esc and motor,controller setup for decent price on ebay and basically upgraded/converted my Mojave Grom into a BLX 223 and without the DSC on its hard to control even on 2s, I have yet to try on 3s but I'm sure its going to be hella faster!
