@janellekm2 ай бұрын
@marylowe7135 Oh no they can't do that it would ruin their photo. I am being sarcastic here, I know what you are saying, they get into the horse's personal space and then blame the horse for its behaviour. 😊

@Bynggo2 ай бұрын
No just a very entitled religion. They think all but they are insignificant and simply there laugh at.
@incamoran95325 күн бұрын
Where they come from they CAN get away with everything. Everything is done by negotiation, so they're never told NO. Considering that this King's Guard regiment was the one who liberated Belsen they ought to be reminded that they probably owe their existence to the efforts of this regiment. The more I see of them the more they disgust me.

@patriciakain5742 ай бұрын
Give the horses and guards some room. They are being crowded by all kinds of children, teens (supervised or not) and adults from all variety of tours and individuals not just ‘foreigners’ ! Aren’t there any laws on capacity rules? Do we need to call police (equivalent of my 911 or 999) to get help for the assaults on the guards and horses? It’s a shame to have to be prepared to make an urgent international call to stop the abuses happening before our very eyes. Wish this was an exaggeration, but it’s not.

What a huge jerk mocking the Guard that was on foot. Yay Mr Policeman! Poor young fella on the left that his Mom kept jerking him by his jacket hood. Seems a little harsh. He perhaps was emotionally challenged. Mom needed to get a move on with him, change his environment. ❤
@j.ksmith74322 ай бұрын
They’re not ‘The Kings Guard’ that is the collective name for the five foot guard regiments that guard Buckingham and St. James Palaces, Windsor Castle, The Tower of London and occasionally Holyrood. The two HCMR’s are collectively known as ‘The Kings Life Guard’

@j.ksmith74322 ай бұрын
@@BevWalther I agree that the boy may have a mental or emotional disorder but that is not the right way to deal with it imo. As said above, she could’ve held his hand and taken him to pat the horse, yanking him around by his coat hood is disgusting. If she really must keep hold if him she could either use a harness or one of those Velcro wrist straps. I’m glad I wasn’t there, I’d probably be arrested.

The disrespect giving to the King's Guards is sickening. I've witnessed this same behavior at the TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER at ARLINGTON, VA. The Soldiers that protect England's Sovereignty should not be mocked by people who've never protected their Faith and Country.

These poor horses they should not be allowed to go near them at all, how would you like to be mauled every time you come out on duty. There definitely should be signs up explaining that these are serving working soldiers and they should be treated with respect including the horses. The horses are always in a state of anxiety and when they get fed up their only defence is to bite and nip. They need to have their space as much as human beings there should also be a cap on how many people can be outside and inside, one day there is going to be an emergency an someone will get hurt it is very hard to expect six MOD police to herd all of these idiots out of the place, too many people pose a threat to the safety of guards and horses and the way the world is at the moment we need to protect these serving men, women and horse much better.
@j.ksmith74322 ай бұрын
That’s a sweeping statement if ever I heard one, the horses are not ‘always in a state of anxiety’ at all, some horses, sometimes, maybe, some quite like the attention and even start dozing.

I just don’t understand all these people cutting in on other people trying to take a picture. You got two people on either side of the horse then you have a couple more people that stand in front of those people that are standing originally there and then you’ll get more crowding in around them. Why don’t we just get a whole big group of people that stand on either side of the horse and take a huge Group picture. Have societies brains gone deficient. Ridiculous. 🤷🏻♀️

Wouldn't it be amusing to get a group of people together who could keep an eye on what the tourists do to the horses. When they've finished patting, poking touching the nose, etc., the group could then go up to the tourist, pat, poke, touch the nose etc!!!!!!! Imagine how they would react!! Perhaps even present them with a paper saying " you have been to Horse Guards and received the same attention as the horse"
