It is a 5 year Integrated MSc course in Biological Sciences. Run by Department of Biotechnology of CUSAT. Other PG programs presently at Department of Biotechnology are MSc Microbiology and Biotechnology. Integrated MSc course in Biological Sciences would be good for students who prefer higher studies and research in the area of biological science/life science and allied fields.

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics have to be studied in +2 for all BTech programmes and Integrated MSc programs except for Integrated MSs in Biological Sciences (for which PCB is needed in +2). 5 year BBA-LLB, BCom-LLB programs do not require mathematics at +2 level.

@@Riya-pd6mi it depends on the course you will be getting and the category through which you are getting admission. For state merit for Normal Btech courses like civil CS IT EC EEE and Safety & Fire eng. the fee is close to 47000 for the first year. For Marine engineering it's close to 2 lakhs for the first year. And for Naval Architecture, Instrumentation and Polymers it's in the range of 18000 for the first semester. These will get doubled if it's under All India quota except for the last three.

The course was started 2/3 years back only. Hence, first batch has not graduated. The course has been designed by well known academicians in a way to meet latest industry specific needs. At present, some of the meritorious MSc Computer Science students are going for internship/project etc. to abroad, especially to countries like Norway.
