I’m not one to just go blindly and allow someone who hurt me so badly to not explain what happened. He needs to take accountability this time. He’s done it before and I allowed him back with out talking about it and he did it again but only worse. What he did was uncalled for and really hurtful so much so that I am now a changed person because of what he did and more importantly what he didn’t do . He needs to learn how conflict resolution works. You need to discuss issues and explain how things got to where they were and take accountability for the things you did wrong and how you would go about correcting that issue so it doesn’t happen again. If you don’t do that and I start recognizing patterns of past problems I will say something about it. That’s the only way I would bring up things from the past, it’s still unresolved. Tge problem, and many do not understand this, is that you can't just let traumas go on a cerebral/ cognitive level, as we know now how they are stored in the body. The nervous system and tissues, organs. These have to be worked on and released with soecific mind/body/ somatic work. The body holds on to the past, not the brain, nor even emotions. It bothers me so much when someone says just ket it go as tgats what i did for 50 years of my life. I buried it and just moved on. I ended up getting extreme debilitating illness in my early 50's because of it, and buried anger i didnt kbow i had. Some end up wirh substance addiction to bury it or mental illnesses, and biolent behaviors. Just a little PSA. 'Whats Buried Alive Never Dies'; Tge body Keeps The Score", are just two sayings, and book titles from trauma specialists, and MDs who have noticed tgis in their patients
