Look, I'm a middle aged woman who went to the concert with my tween/ teenaged daughter with roots in punk and old school alt myself and yes, I have to say #1 I was thoroughly impressed with how good they were live in general. I took my daughter to their concert and it was truly amazing. They are gifted with being one if those bands that are actually better live than recorded and that is always a very pleasant surprise, and #2 the trumpet player blew me away. He was so good and such a strong presence when he was soloing. I couldn't believe it. He was so good.. I love Jack and Ryan as well but was so impressed with many things and he was soooooo good, lol..yes. agreed..
