Zero Ninety This can only be said by someone who have never owned a 2CV nor driven one, Citroen 2CV is a reliable car that is fun to drive and versatile. The only car I have owned that has never leaked a drop on my driveway. +4 years in my ownership and it has not yet had any mechanical issue. despite being in non restored condition. Calling a 2CV a piece of shit is like calling a Harley Davidson a piece of shit.

I could probably get that 2cv running again, I don't know about the Renault 4. the 2cv just need a new canvas roof so it don't rain into it when it is parked outside and we need to look at what parts of the engine that might suffer damage from the bullets. the engine has few parts that can get hurt and they can all be replaced individually.

It's very possible it wasn't him firing the shots that hit the car. Top Gear was notorious for the team not actually being in the cars when various misadventures and derring-do was filmed, so it's just as likely May was filmed firing the rifle but the professional off camera later fired the shots that hot the car. And, presumably, killed the Frenchies in it.

First rifle was an SMLE. The rifle he actually fired was a P14. Or possibly a US Model 1917, but considering these are English folks here, I’m going to bet it was a P14. Not sure why they swapped them, maybe the Enfield had some sort of malfunction. But at 0:55 you can definitely see that it’s a different rifle altogether than the one shown in his hands at the beginning of the video.
