I stayed there for one week, It was one of the most impressive Experiences I ever had in my life. You reach Shinjuko, Shibuya, Ginza and whatever you like to see in Tokyo by train very fast and still be able to see real life in Japan. I also loved the station. They have a very good Food-Court there in the station.

We just got back from Akabane. My family and I stayed for 5 days and without a doubt it was the best choice to stay. No tourist, plenty of grocery shopping (we cooked a our place) lots of local clothes store and we didnt get the Tokyo rush vibe. It was great and we would go back.

I accidentally chose to be here because hotels were cheaper, and am very happy to get this validation from this cool guy that it is indeed a nice place. This is my first time here in Japan (one day old), so I have nothing to compare it against, but last night the food I chose to eat at random in Akabane station area was awesome. Affordable but at twice the quality I would get it for even in the best places in California (the cost a fortune there anyway).

That’s true, depends on your level of pickiness…for me I’m likely to like most things, but for many new to japan, things like intestines and gizzards etc can be a little tough. I love the PICK AND PRAY phrase that’s amazing 😂 I guess those items would be the 3 out of 10.
