Wakanda was depicted how it’s always been depicted. The whole catch w Wakanda has always been other nations utilize predominantly men for their special forces whereas Wakanda has the Dora Milaje and Midnight Angels. And shuri became the black panther in the comics for a short period of time. The only thing one can argue is that Namor would’ve wiped the floor with shuri, he’s really OP. Granted for the plot she had to win, i think this was marvels best way to respect Boseman and push the story forward. And clearly they’re setting up for a new black panther to replace shuri.

To me the movie was better than the 1st…..I felt like Killmonger was the star of the movie but they killed him off so everything was up in the air as for as the script goes and the women empowerment didnt even bother me (they need some new role models to look up too lol women influencers/only fans are running rampant)…..I felt like it had a good balance to carry us over till the next iteration and I loved the action compared to 1st one…..this was my fav Marvel film since Cap Winter Soldier.

We all know you can’t replace Chadwick Boseman or recapture that impact the first movie had. Like it was the FIRST Black Panther movie. Imma be honest, people didn’t show as much support for this film because Chadwick passed and Michael B Jordan wasn’t the choice. Most people rather not see a female lead, or view the female lead as “agenda”. Can we not see this movie was to honor everything Chadwick gave us during his run? Yeah could other characters could have been BP, yeah. But I don’t think it would’ve changed how this movie turned out. It’s hard to top what the first BP has done, and with all the rescheduling due to COVID, this movie could’ve been a train wreck. So give props to the cast and Ryan Coogler.
