In light of Kanye scoring his first number 1 hit with “Carnivals,” his first since he was mired in controversy, we take a look back at DJ Akademiks speaking about the then-upcoming “Vultures” album. Akademiks started off explaining how Kanye is like Batman, and he and Vlad went on to debate whether Kanye will score another number 1 after all of the controversy. Akademiks stood firm on his stance that Kanye is one of the greatest artists of all time, and Vlad countered that Kanye will have to have massive support to get a number 1 album.
