Star was trying to explain to them that he had said things about The Game on public platforms on the record, that people could pull up and reference so he couldn't then go get into a confrontation with Game ending up shooting him or his people and realistically think he'd beat the charges claiming self defense. All a prosecutor would have to do is go: "your honor we have Star on record saying he would do x,y and z if he saw them in public and he did it".
