A little jam to show the housier and technoid side of this device. Buy: www.thomann.de/intl/akai_mpc_... Review: www.dj-lab.de/test-test-akai-... (german) Performance: Kai Dombrowski Video: Kai Dombrowski
The first MPC video I see where actual music is being made, shows the true potential of the instrument. Great job!

Good to see somebody on youtube demo-ing a house/techno track on the mpc instead of mostly hiphop..now i am happy i ordered one.

Right? Everyone and there uncle is using these for hip hop. That's cool and all... nice to see someone be different and do some house /tech

Of course Toddy Terry and a host of other DJs started making house and Detroit techno on mpc’s.

Have to come back at my post...still love this tune, but i cancelled the MPC One and got a Akai Force instead, wich is also a beast!
@Darqion3 жыл бұрын
@@Funky1ism Sorry to bother you.. I am in the market for a groovebox type.. was looking at MPC one/live II, but had also seen the Akai Force, just wondering what pushed you towards the Force? The live II has my attention mostly because of the speaker and battery, so i can just so my thing on the couch or in the garden, but if the Force is really that great.. It did look cool in the few demos i watched.

Late to party but just seen this video. You have just shown so many things in this 3 mins video that I didn't even know where possible. And the fact you you did it live even more amazing. You given me a brand new perspective of how to use this amazing machine. (That me kids call the big calculator) You have re written the blue print for how to use the mpc one. My mind is going ape shit right now thinking of how to incorporate what you do. Thank you !!!

Damn this was super nice. I make "hip-hop" style beats (rhythmically speaking) but I'm much more into synths and the tricks and experimental aspects of the various forms of electronic music and this video did a lot more for me than most of the sample chop videos because I don't chop samples in that way (besides one shots or things I play on keys or synth). Good stuff.

The technique/steps demonstrated apply to any current MPC, as they all use the same software. I have an MPC Live II and only the location of buttons is slightly different.

Can I say thank you for doing this. I’ve played all these how to use videos and it’s so fucking boring. What are these people can’t make it all about them before they even touch the unit! So, when I just see using it and it sounds cool, it makes me wanna buy. Thanks man!
