That's one thing I don't like about the MPC; when you copy a sequence, any changes made to any of the programs should only effect that sequence only. Maybe it should ask you when copying a sequence; 1: Do you want to use the same programs? 2: Do you want to duplicate all or just a few programs? 3: Or do you want to create new programs? Anyway .... Great video, thanks.

I am new in the world of MPC but after my son started rappin 😆 i bought the MPC studio. did not know what was what. Allthou there are a lot, but not so many good videos out there, i noticed that watching your channel made me learn more about the MPC. Like this tutorial. the most important tutorial to understand the basics.. What i really like and think is very necessary about your videos is that you not only do what you do but also explain people what this is for and what the purpose off that option is. example like you said that a sequence is a section of the song. and now its easier to understand. Im from the Netherlands and English is not my native language. Keep up the good work. I just wanted you to know im learning the very basics from you. Some times its little bit harder becauce im working from the MPC software and the Studio..but its understandable. Thanks again! 💚

Hey MPC Headz. Think you can do a video explaining how to program from plug in program to drum program. I am still a bit confused. At first I didn't know you need to create a new track to create a plug in. This had me a bit baffled when playing my sequences and I was hearing my drum program but when I went to the plug I would get this weird glitchy noise and couldn't figure it out for a while. Hopefully you understand what I am talking about. I think future users might need this explained. Your lessons are definitely for the new users.
@mpchead6 жыл бұрын
Each track has it’s own program. You can use the same program in several tracks but only one program per track. If you record something with a program on a track, the midi notes that you record will always refer to the same program. After you record something on a track don’t change programs on that track. If you want to record a new instrument (drum program, plugin or another type of program) just go to a new empty track.

@mpchead6 жыл бұрын
Yes, the metronome can be routed to other outputs, like 3/4 or mono 3 or 4. Not to the headphone alone, headphone seem to be hot-wired to the the main outs 1/2. You can plug the headphones to an out and have samples audition also routed to the same out. As with everything in the mpc - there are workarounds.

I go to duplicate program sample and events in sequence and I copy my sequence ,,,, if I want my sample to have an effect everywhere I just need to duplicate it in progam to apply the effect or you have to go in events in sequence, I hope to make myself understood thank you to you

You can copy the pad with the sample to another pad and apply the effect on that pad, so you can have one pad with the effect and another pad without the effect. That's one way of doing it.

Great video as usual Champ. Can you please explain how to use multiple midi instruments on multiple tracks? Hey, What's happening @@mpchead ? Yeah, I'm working with a Roland Integra 7. I didn't set any channels on the Integra, I assumed that it is already set to default channel 1. However, I did change the event to different numbers which changed instruments but still had no results with sequencing the tracks. I'll go back and get into the midi settings on the Integra 7 and see what happens. Also, I'll check out your other videos on sequencing, regarding having the same drum program bleeding over onto the next track. I remember you mentioning that in one of your videos. Thank you for responding.
