Had double trigs for ages on new live 2 - but only ever on pads 2 and 3. took a while to get this tuned out and nearly put me off the device altogether. Great explanation.

I had to change the sensitivity on my MPC One pads the other week. Until you mentioned it, I didn't realise that was a thing 😂. I thought it was me being a doofus. Thanks Conan!

I'm going to be the oddball out, but.. I've known about this for a while. It scared me that my machine was broken, at first. (Same for me - does occur on the Live II, not on the One). But,.. I left it go, once I knew there was a software tuning for it. For the most part, it has produced many more "happy accidents" for me than not. I suppose that is going to depend on everything you mentioned, but also TC. And, when it's a rare annoying double, that is easily fixed in the grid. I use a 4mm stylus and fly around the grids on these things. Did NOT realize that I could make my pad lights brighter and make TAP stop screaming at me, though! Thanks! Gold, as always, even on the 7min tips.

Now that you mention it, I don’t remember having anywhere near as many double triggers on the One+ vs the Live2 but no longer have the latter. I do know the One+ flashing tempo (white LED) is horrendous and glad I was able to turn that off.

A stretch I know but I thought I would ask...I know it's not necessarily what you do (assuption) but would be amazing if you did a vid on recording vocals over our beats in MPC 3 standalone. I just know there are many out there who would love and benefit from that content. Fairly little good content, especially in 3, out there. Mad Respect Conan)

Ahhh okay I tried to get these settings right but didn't spend enough time trying to understand the relationship between threshold and sensitivity. Got it tuned up right for me. HUGE different. The only difficulty I'm facing is getting just the right sensitivity that works for drums and note input for the synths, but it's much better now. I do prefer keys for that, since I'm a pianist/keyboardist, but it's nice to have SOME way to input melodies if I want to.

I need to adjust mine. I typically leave it on full velocity. When I turn of full velocity, I get double triggers or no triggering at all. I do often used 50% velocity as well especially with chords in pad performance. I find full velocity on the chords to be too much. But now I can go in and adjust these settings had have more dynamic performances.
