Question About 2.6 Updates MPCX Shift F-Key Did AKAI Take those features Away? My Shift Tuning is not working and Standalone Mode Nor in the Software. Unless i’m doing something wrong and I completely forgot. So I hit Shift and hold down F-Key. And I turn the Q Links For Shift Tuning and Nothing Is Working. Even when active the Record Animation Botton on the Top Right Is Everyone else’s F-Key Working?

Need Help I’m running 2.5 And still my Effects and some Reverbs and Compressors don’t come up wth the Face Plate. It’s like a dark gray box with the EFX Content In Red. I can move the levels from side to side but it do not show the Face Plate like you had there in blue. It’s only works in when I’m hook up in my computer but not in Standalone Mode at all. Need some advice on how to fix it.

MPC stands for "Midi Production Center", not "Music Production Center"

Wrong!!!!!!!!!! MPC stood for Music Production Center since the release of the MPC 4000. 2000xl and older MPCs (2000, 3000, 60II, and 60) are the only MPCs that stood for "Midi Production Center." Because they are simply midi sequencers and drum samplers. Whereas, modern MPCs are samplers, midi sequencers, music workstations, etc.

I think it would have gone better if the interviewer had "some" basic working knowledge of music terminology. The upgrade is a pretty big deal MPC users, this wasn't it's finest hour.

Complete bullshit about the layering part and DAWs. In most DAWs it's super simple to do.. _and you can actually change the PHASE of samples in case they are out of phase_ , something the MPC still can't do.. in 2019. Literally the simplest audio operation ever (and very useful in many cases), not possible to do on an MPC.
