Guys have you noticed that Kakashi and Obito old voices from that episode matches perfectly the actual voices they have now when they grown up...but then they messed it up when they changed their voices when they were young...I mean I am not saying their new voices are trash, but they should of kept the old ones.

It's undeniable that Naruto as a series has a lot of problem... But there are some chunks of writing and character development that is so well done and this is one of them. Tbh, I think I would have preferred this to be Obito's actual death. It was incredibly meaningful and I think they sort of half-assed his reappearance as the villain. At least compared to this.

@@quentinjones6877 Naruto has a history of giving characters the perfect death/send off only to cheaply bring them back and then not utilize them well. Rock Lee, Choji, Neji etc. Heck even Boruto brought back some old characters for whatever reason only to later toss them to the side.

Agreed entirely. Them bringing Obito back was sort of where the writing kinda jumped the shark (if it hadn't before then). It was pretty contrived and the motivations he had afterwards was just extremely flawed. If he had stayed dead and his name wasn't tainted afterwards just for an "oh my god!" reveal later on, his story would have remained so much more impactful rather than just plaster it with another "good guy became bad guy but becomes redemption guy" later on. I mean, I would have been fine if it had been a completely different Uchiha, like maybe a cousin of Sasuke's or something, I dunno. They could have worked a new character in there somewhere.
