He was not born; He shall not die. ||3|| ਪੰਜ ਵਖਤ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਗੁਜਾਰਹਿ ਪੜਹਿ ਕਤੇਬ ਕੁਰਾਣਾ ॥ You may chant your prayers five times each day; you may read the Bible and the Koran. ਨਾਨਕੁ ਆਖੈ ਗੋਰ ਸਦੇਈ ਰਹਿਓ ਪੀਣਾ ਖਾਣਾ ॥੪॥੨੮॥ Says Nanak, the grave is calling you, and now your food and drink are finished. ||4||28|| Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Siree Raag - 24 ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਕਰਿ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੨॥ One who sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, becomes spotlessly pure. ||2|| ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਭਿ ਸਾਸਤ ਇਨ੍ਹ ਪੜਿਆ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥ One may read all the books of the Vedas, the Bible, the Simritees and the Shaastras, but they will not bring liberation. ਏਕੁ ਅਖਰੁ ਜੋ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਪੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥ One who, as Gurmukh, chants the One Word, acquires a spotlessly pure reputation. ||3|| ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਸੂਦ ਵੈਸ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਚਹੁ ਵਰਨਾ ਕਉ ਸਾਝਾ ॥ The four castes - the Kh'shaatriyas, Brahmins, Soodras and Vaishyas - are equal in respect to the teachings. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੈ ਉਧਰੈ ਸੋ ਕਲਿ ਮਹਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਾਝਾ ॥੪॥੩॥੫੦॥ One who, as Gurmukh, chants the Naam (Vaheguru), the Name of the Lord, is saved. In this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, O Nanak, God is permeating the hearts of each and every being. ||4||3||50|| Guru Arjan Dev Ji in Raag Soohee - 748 ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬੀ ਭੇਦੁ ਨ ਜਾਤਾ ॥ The Vedas and the Bible do not know the mystery of God. Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Raag Maaroo - 1021 ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬ ਕੇ ਭੇਦ ਸਬੈ ਤਜਿ ਕੇਵਲ ਕਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਿਧਿ ਮਾਨਯੋ ॥੨੪॥ Therefore, all are aware of that Akaal Purakh (The Timeless, Deathless One - the Lord who is beyond death and time - the One whom cannot die) therefore, abandoning the differentiation of Vedas and Semitic scriptures, accept only Akaal Purakh (The Timeless, Deathless One - the Lord who is beyond death and time) as the Lord, the ocean of Grace.24. ਕਾਲ ਗਯੋ ਇਨ ਕਾਮਨ ਸਿਉ ਜੜ ਕਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਹੀਐ ਨ ਚਿਤਾਰਯੋ ॥ O fool! You have wasted your time in various desires and did not remember in your heart that most Gracious Lord Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Svaiye - 715 ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬ ਪੜੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਭੇਦ ਕਛੂ ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਨਹਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥ You have studied Vedas and Semitic scriptures for a very long time, but still you could not comprehend His Mystery ਪੂਜਤ ਠੌਰ ਅਨੇਕ ਫਿਰਯੋ ਪਰ ਏਕ ਕਬੈ ਹੀਯ ਮੈ ਨ ਬਸਾਯੋ ॥ You had been wandering at many places worshipping Him, but you never adopted that One Lord Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Svaiye - 715 ਪਾਇ ਗਹੇ ਜਬ ਤੇ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਤਬ ਤੇ ਕੋਊ ਆਂਖ ਤਰੇ ਨਹੀ ਆਨਯੋ ॥ O God! the day when I caught hold of your feet, I do not bring anyone else under my sight ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਅਨੇਕ ਕਹੈਂ ਮਤ ਏਕ ਨ ਮਾਨਯੋ ॥ None other is liked by me now, the Puranas and the Quran try to know Thee by the names of Ram and Rahim and talk about you through several stories, ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਬੇਦ ਸਭੈ ਬਹੁ ਭੇਦ ਕਹੈ ਹਮ ਏਕ ਨ ਜਾਨਯੋ ॥ The Simritis, Shastras and Vedas describe several mysteries of yours, but I do not agree with any of them. ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਸਿਪਾਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਕਰਿ ਮੈ ਨ ਕਹਯੋ ਸਭ ਤੋਹਿ ਬਖਾਨਯੋ ॥੮੬੩॥ O sword-wielder God! This all has been described by Thy Grace, what power can I have to write all this?.863. Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Chaubees Avtar - 290 ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਜੀ ਸਹਾਇ ॥ May the most supreme Akaal Purakh (Timeless, Deathless Lord) be helpful Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Chaubees Avtar - 290
