In case you don't know already, one of the most famous female MC's in UK in the early 2000's is his big sister. Ms Dynamite.... He has never used her platform though she really wanted to boost him. He is the truth of truth. If you go by lyrics, he has to be considered as top 5 all time of any list imho. Such a humble human and true genius.

Learnt more from this guy than from endless poets - millions killed in the Congo, but a footballer's wife buys a pair of shoes, and that's news.

Im a member of working class Britain. I have watched a lot of Americans 'React' to Akala. YOU are the only one that seems to get what he is about. the truth is his Rapping is only scratching the surface. If he was to Stand for Primeminster i would vote for him. He is a leader that people should follow and is largly unknown because the powers that be dont want his message to be heard. A modern day revolutionary? Maybe

Great reaction! My Dad worked all hours doing exactly what you’re doing. Didn’t see him much but I KNEW he was there and that was what feeling cared for and safe felt like. Akala my god! What an amazing experience to hear this man’s fire 🔥

bruh you need to get Akala’s book “Natives, the ruins of empires”, whether you like reading or not. And when your kids get old enough, let them read, there’s random profanity in it so not good for young kids. But I can’t wait to let my sons read, it’s a biography and history lesson that makes you crave for more. And I am not a book worm so trust me on this non readers.

when he said that the youths follow their leaders he's saying that the UK is involved in so much violence in other countries (Iraq, Syria etc...) so it's not surprising that you see British kids with a violent mindset.

Man Akala dose lectures at university as a professor, you can find them on KZbin if you want to learn something. Why not call subscribers "passengers" because we're on this train ;) react to "English Frank- warm up sessions" and also he killed a fire in the booth.

check him at the oxford union address. man is an author, playright, academic historian with phd's baby and a musician. i am from the uk born in 1970. it is a shame that usa hip hop is pop because it lacks knowledge.

The 'youth following the leaders' was with reference to the middle class' reaction to the looting by the disenfranchised youth in for example the London riots and he is pointing out that this is simply a smaller scale version of the much more extreme violence of the ruling class when they wage resource wars in the Middle East.

Watching People learn from the man that gave me guidance, when I was the age that I could have made the mistakes he taught me not to make. I always thank Akala He taught me to learn, something that my british education taught me not to. Smash the paradox
