Yeah, he did. Now that I think about it, I'm almost certain he's that British rapper I saw being interviewed on Tavis Smiley about a year or so ago (he also performed on there, I think) because he had braids also and was talking about Brit history as it pertained to black folks and Shakesphere. Couldn't recall his name for the longest time, now I know who he is and can look up his songs---cool!

By far, one of the better interviews that VLAD produced. I understand that VLAD'S goal is to document people that are relevant or achieved or have a story that must be heard; or otherwise it would never be documented. Vlad would interview people that no one else would touch. I've never heard of AKALA, but I thoroughly enjoyed his intellect on the subjects he spoke about. I'd like to see more interviews of this caliber, I don't care to hear about some rapper boasting about how much money he made selling drugs or how many people he killed, and the amount of time he spent in prison! This interview was a breath of fresh air. And very informative! Even VLAD was impressed! More interviews like this please, and you'll see your subscribers start to soar! 😄😄😄

***** I said white people meaning the people that subscribe to that people culture. You don't have white skin do you ? Therefore I'm not talking about your skin colour dummy. Im talking about your peoples culture in general historically. To rob and steal and justify it by claiming that you are more civilised. Or to say "if you resist arrest you should get shot" or "it's just names - get over it". "White" is a synonym for western european. So no one is inherently guilty of a crime based on skin colour - but guilty based on a supremacist culture that you benefit from and get treated better than others that have more melanin, yes. I love Akala! So much mind going on in that brain of his. There was a time I didn’t expect people from other countries to know anything about what the hell was going on in America, namely the Southside of Chicago. 🌈

Fuck thats one smart Man! I'm a 46 year old British white man now living in Canada been here for 20 years and he just explained a lot!! of stuff about my homeland and what Brexit is all about. Never heard of this young man before but my word what a solid find this was on the internet / You Tube.

There is no mind finer. Went to see him on Tuesday and I'm broken about having work rather than stick around to meet him. The most significant rapper there will ever be.

Take it from me, a LOT of people don't take kindly to intellect. I learned how to fight as a kid BECAUSE the hood hated smart folks. But when Rakim came out, being knowledgeable wasn't so bad.
