Akashi is not better than aomine. Aomine is the most unpredictable player in the whole series even though akashi can predict the future he cannot predict aomine. Even our heroic duo saidnthat aomine is the strongest. Aomine knew that akashi had the emperor eye but still he always said that"The only one who can beat me is me". Midorima also said that aomine is still not at his best while akashi was on his best by the end of this series. If you compare aomine and akashi on the basis of their matches against kagami then you are wrong. Akashi had his so called emperor eye,mayuzumi and the uncrowned kings on the other hand a lazy and yawning aomine literally overpowered the whole team. If we compare seirin and rakuzan they were equal but seirin and aomine were not equal aomine easily overpowered them. Aomine without practice nearly destroyed seirin on his own his opponents were the heroic duo and a uncdowned king. Kiyoshi even after triple teaming aomine with the duo was not able to stop him adn also praised him but he did not say the same about akashi. Aomine has more experience(see the flashbacks),more strength,more speed(even the writers said that aomine is the fastest),more accurate(no matter how distracted aomine is he never misses). Akashi is a mastermind but still he cannot use his brain against someone who is formless. A well prepared aomine is better than both akashi and kagami. Kagami had more difficulty against aomine as it was a 1v5 but akashi played an equal match. Even akashi repected aomine for his legendary basketball speed and skill. Aomine is the strongest and always will be the strongest. Even the comentator said the sane thing.rakuzan was struggling to handle midorima. Aomine would destroy them. Akashi never intended to play aomine he knew his streak would come to an end. Aomine overpowered seirin when they had kagami zone and kuroko overflow. Akashi was forced to fall on his butt and accept defeat.

In what way is he Better than Akashi? Aomine couldn't beat Kagami in the zone. Meanwhile Akashi obliterated a much stronger Kagami. Aomine is however the only one with any real advantage against Akashi due to his formless shots but thats it. Akashi is faster and is much smarter.

@@lester3135 How is Kagami not better than Aomine? He literately beat him both in the zone and out of the zone. But yeah Akashi is way better than everyone else in the series. On the last episode the GOM play 3v3 for most of the day and Akashi is the only one who didn't lose. That means at some point he beat Aomine with Kiske and Kuroko while Aomine had Murasakibara and Midorima.
