That Emperor Eye may be useful for basketball and everything, but how useful would it be for everything else?? For example, Akashi could lay waste to anyone in boxing or street fights since he can predict the opponent's next move. In baseball, he could predict the pitcher's next pitch by observing his movements, so he could hit easily. The possibilities are endless!

the emperor eye isn't really a special abillity based on what he sees but what he thinks. it's easy if you imagine chess´. each figure can move wis and that way and can do that. what the emperor eye is only his brain thinking about what comes now, how somone moves and howhe can counter that. to put it is basketball. if you trick you enemy so he thinks you go right he will go that way to block you (same with left) so you can switch to the other side. tho it's much more difficult when it comes to the tacticts he uses but this is the basic. it could be true that he can only use it in basketball yet it's not as difficult to convert movements from basketball into any other so as soon akashi wishes to he could use it in almost any other situation

@@Iliassoma1 you are right. Plot armor helps them defeat Rakuzan, Shuutoku and Kaijo, but i still think their victory against Touhou and Yosen were deserving. By the time Seirin played Rakuzan, they had already been overally stronger than the other 4 teams (Touhou, Shuutoku, Kaijo and Yosen). I just hate how the author nerfed Shuutoku and Kaijo by letting them lose to Seirin for so many times even though Kagami did not enter zone in those matches. I mean, based on the reputation of those two, Shuutoku and Kaijo should be equal to Yosen and Touhou. The plot made them look weak although apart from Midorima and Kise, their other players are also national-calibre athletes.
