Received mine from Amazon last week. Nice video, learned a lot about this camera, I really like it, I ordered two 32gig cards, 3 extra batteries! Should be able to record all day now! I don’t if there are much difference than the Go Pro, but for the price thought I would give it a try! So far satisfied👍

I don't use mine hardly at all, but it does seem to be a pretty doggone good camera. I can't see spending the extra money on a GoPro. I'm glad you are enjoying yours.

For the price, this is an excellent action camera. I done lots of filming and my only issue has been transferring clips onto an iPad for editing. For some reason the iPad doesn’t recognize the clips or the images when I try loading them. I’ve no idea why! My computer shows them and transferring them via wifi is no problem. Akaso couldn’t answer why this occurs. A minor hassle given how well the camera works! Get one!

I actually got both the Camking app and AKASO DV app to work by logging into my AKASO camera as WiFi point from my Pixel smartphone. I also had to turn off mobile data on my smart phone for the apps to work. If it asks you for a wifi password, it is 1234567890.

I was going to buy one of those but the most important thing to me at the moment is the remote app, and I read it does not work. So I went for the old Sjcam4000 and the app works great.

akaso_official i tried to pair the brave 4 with the dv app and it doesnt work. The brave 4 isnt even a option theres another brave 4 with touch screen and thats the only one available on the app

Did you have any issues with audio syncing when transferring it to your computer?

Not that I recall. I don't use this camera a whole lot. I do have a bunch of video that I still have to scrub through and check. If I notice anything like that, I'll make a note of it here.

Thank you. Mine came today and I’ve messed around with it and when I uploaded it onto my iMac all the sound was out of sync. I’ve been told that it may be down to the player I use.

@@FamilyFitnessMe yes, I would try a different media player. I have had the sinking issues before and a different player has fixed it. Reboot the Mac or PC. That's always a go-to for me. :-)

i prefer the video looping myself. say you're recoding and the battery dies at 17 minutes, if you have looping off you might lose the whole 17 minutes, but if you have looping on you may lose the last 2 minutes but you still have the previous 15 if you have it set at 3 or 5 etc.

Great video! Did you have any luck with the wrist remote ? I can’t get mine to work. I was in video mode on the camera and can’t get it to start recording when I press the grey button on the remote.

Mine works. Check the settings in the camera. You may need to enable that. I can't remember and I'm not in a position to check my camera at the moment.

SwordofFire02 the issue here is almost always the battery. Switching in a new one will solve your problem.

I took out the battery and ran it from the power adapter, and it worked for me.

u just click on, go to video and take a video and walah. so basically when you turn timelapse on it turns video mode into timelapse.

You don't. If it's like the EK7000 remote, it takes a button cell battery, and it looks like you remove 4 screws from the back of the remote to replace it.

The mic on that camera isn't the greatest. Especially if it's housed in the waterproof case.

Easiest way would be to plug it into your computer and view the filesthat way. Or plugged the microSD card into your computer. If you don't have access to a computer, then when you're in the camera viewing a photo or video, hold the up and down buttondown at the same time for a couple seconds and it will bring up the option to delete. Hopefully that makes sense. Good luck.
